Yes. Our vans have a capacity of 8 passengers plus the driver, and we can set up multiple vans to go together on the same day.
Yes, we offer pick-up and drop-off from any location within Funchal and Caniço.
Only for the Sunset West Tour, shared or private, pick-up and drop-off are also possible in all the coast towns from Caniço to Arco da Calheta, such as: Câmara de Lobos, Campanário, Ribeira Brava, Tabúa, Ponta Do Sol and Madalena do Mar, due to these locations being on the way to the first stop. Please consult before booking for pick-ups outside Funchal and Caniço.
Only for Private Tours guests staying it other areas, it is possible for us to consider another place, but please make a request before booking. An additional fee may apply, depending on the extra distance our guides need to travel from our base in Funchal.
Our tours include lunch breaks, but the prices are not included. Otherwise, our prices wouldn’t be sustainable.
Our prices for the tours are for the transportation service we provide, in comfortable new vans, that are frequently maintained and repaired, with professional, knowledgable, well-trained staff. And for all taxes that a legal business carries, and gas expenses.
We will stop at affordable places for lunch, which also have space to eat your own meal if you choose to bring it.
Madeira is famous for having “4 seasons in 1 day” and micro-climate. Being that said, please be prepared with clothes for all 4 seasons. Only July and August might escape to this. We do have a soft winter compared to the rest of Europe, but it is still winter.
Coins for toilets and cash for rural establishments that don’t take card, are also necessary.
Jacket, comfortable shoes and water are ALWAYS a must!
Yes, in the Sunset West Tour we have the Porto Moniz natural pools.
And in the Sunset South Tour, we have the Calheta gold sand beach.
Please remember your swimwear, sunscreen and towel. And please remember that the possibility of swimming depends on the weather.
The water temperature in Madeira is pleasant mostly all year around. With an average of 18 to 23 degrees C.
The minimum age for our shared tours is 8 years old.
We also offer private tours for any ages! Child and baby seats will be provided.
Yes. Alcohol consumption is only allowed during designated times such as meals, breaks, etc. Intoxicated behavior, determined by the staff, that endangers other guests or our staff, and disrupts the tour, will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to deny boarding the vehicle and no refunds will be made. Intoxicated guests removed from the tour are responsible for their own transportation back to their accommodation.
